Soon after Slackannounced its partnership with OpenAI for office workers, its parent company Salesforce unveiled the latest ChatGPT iteration, dubbed Einstein GPT.
This time, instead of the chatbot we’ve all grown accustomed to, the artificial intelligence (AI) model will be primarily used for businesses, integrating with the company’s widespread customer relationship management (CRM) system.
In short, employees will be able to come up with personalized emails to send to customers on the fly. Plus, the tool will allow service staff to answer queries with specific generated responses and even create targeted marketing content.
That’s not all, Einstein GPT—much like its namesake—sounds like something of a genius tool, as it’ll help workers schedule meetings, garner knowledge from past case notes, and even deliver “smart summaries” when sales opportunities arise.
“The world is experiencing one of the most profound technological shifts with the rise of real-time technologies and generative AI,” said Marc Benioff, CEO of Salesforce.
“[Einstein GPT] comes at a pivotal moment as every company is focused on connecting with customers in more intelligent, automated, and personalized ways,” he added.
