Subway Brushes Crisp Lettuce Aside For Even Crispier Footlong Potato Chip
Someone, or something, was definitely baked at the conception of this idea—and at least one of them was a potato chip.
Subway is joining in on the crisp celebrations for National Potato Chip Day this year, which falls on March 14, with a 12-inch potato chip. Because why have the whole canister when you can have one whole chip?
The Baked Lay’s Footlong, a chipper collaboration with the snack brand, will be available for only one day at a Subway location in Frisco, Texas. Why Texas? Well, as the sandwich chain points out: “Everything is bigger in Texas.”
Unfortunately, fans might have to fight for crumbs when the time comes. As suggested in the promotional images, each box is numbered from a range of one to 50.
All told, the giant chip will come free for quick-footed patrons who order a Subway Series footlong meal from 11 am CST on March 14 at 6700 Stonebrook Parkway, Suite 100 in Frisco, Texas.
