A LEGO Dinosaur Left A Big Pile Of Poop Inside This ‘Jurassic Park’ Set

Eat your greens, kids. LEGO is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the original Jurassic Park film with a resuscitation of the dinosaurs and their iconic scenes in five playful sets. Although the selection launches on June 1, one box already appears to be, uh, lived-in. It seems one of its inhabitants has marked their territory with a non-human-sized pile of dung.
The Jurassic Park Triceratops Research set, priced at US$49.99, reenacts the scene where Dr Ellie Sattler finds a herbivorous dino with a tummy upset and investigates its poop.
The creature has come bearing gifts in the form of a buildable hunk of brick poop. The sight is like a car crash; you can’t look away from it.
Players might, instead, be tempted to prod it… to find a toxic berry as the source of the dinosaur’s discomfort. There’s a tiny shovel accessory, in case you don’t want to use your hands.
But enough crap-talk, because we’re sure the poor triceratops is already embarrassed as is. The milestone brings four other models, including a Jurassic Park Visitor Center (US$129.99); a Dilophosaurus Ambush set (US$19.99), recreating the time an ill-fated Dennis Nedry tried to get away from the island with stolen dinosaur eggs; a Brachiosaurus Discovery kit (US$79.99), which showcases a long-necked monster chomping on some leaves from a tree; and a Velociraptor Escape variation (US$39.99) with a raptor pen.
As Polygon points out, bits of plastic poop have shown up other LEGO sets, including the Friends and The Office builds. Proportions-wise, the prehistoric poo should triumph as number one, while the others are tied for number two.
