Hidden Valley Now Tops Your Meals Off With Some Ranch…Ice Cream?
After reading the title, you might be asking, “why?” And in response to that, Hidden Valley asks, “why not?”
Flavor combinations know no boundaries with Hidden Valley’s salad dressings and Van Leeuwen’s latest offering, which turns ranch topping into a dessert for National Ranch Day. The addition might not surprise those familiar with Van Leeuwen’s last out-of-the-box creation, pizza-flavored ice cream. Though, this does take the cake, so to speak.

It seems as if the company hasn’t just frozen a vat of ranch and dished it out into tubs of ice cream, thankfully. Instead, the dessert centers around ingredients in the dressing, such as buttermilk, “flavorful herbs,” and is topped with a sweet undertone to tie it all together.
The buttermilk and sweet flavorings might save it from tasting too much like someone stuck some ranch in the freezer and then handed it to you. However, the herbs might make it seem like all your dessert is missing is a side of salad or chicken wings.
And, of course, something as radical as this has sparked some rather humorous reactions on social media.

Whatever it is, for extreme ranch-lovers or daredevil foodies who are up to test out the ice cream, it will be available as a Walmart exclusive from March 20, for US$5 a pint.
