Acer Wheels In Its First Electric Bike To Zip Around Cities With AI Capabilities

Acer, known for its high-performing tech gear such as laptops and PCs, is hitting the road running with an all-new offering that might have you hitting the brakes when you see its incoming… electric bicycle.
 
The ebii e-bike is explicitly designed for city dwellers thanks to its compact silhouette. It weighs just 35 lbs, allowing it to hit a high speed of 20 mph with a 70-mile range on one charge. And when you’re out on the road, you won’t have to worry about getting a flat as it comes with airless tires.

It keeps true to its tech roots by adding an artificially-intelligent system that allows the bicycle to learn a rider’s habits and change gears for them depending on the road conditions.
 
The vehicle will only take two and a half hours to charge up fully. And in proper Acer form, the battery pack also doubles up as a portable charger for your laptop and phone.

An accompanying app also gives riders insight into speed checks, recommended routes, and auto-lock settings
