Oppo Slaps One-Inch Camera Sensor On The Back Of New Find X6 Phone

The bigger, the better, says Oppo as it smacks its newest Find series phone, the X6 and the X6 Pro, with a one-inch camera sensor on its back.
 
Of course, a one-inch sensor is a stretch from what you usually see on modern smartphones, but Oppo is not the first nor the biggest. Xiaomi announced a similar offering last year after it teamed up with Leica for a concept device. Larger sensors are great for capturing more light and delivering more natural-looking bokeh. 

However, this version has a 50MP sensor supported by two others of the same size. One is for ultrawide and macro shots, while the other is for a 3x optical zoom. 
 
Oppo’s primary and telephoto lenses come with OIS for better stability. The brand also claims its 6x hybrid zoom provides “full optical quality,” while digital zoom can reach up to 120x.
 
In addition to a 5,000mAh battery, the Oppo Find X6 Pro boasts 100W fast charging via USB-C and 50W wireless. The phone features a 32MP selfie camera, Dolby Vision and HDR10/+ support, and an IR blaster. It comes in three colorways, green, black, and brown vegan leather. 

On the flip side, the X6 boasts a 6.74-inch, 1440p display, a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chip, 8GB of RAM, and three powerful 50MP cameras.
 
The phones will be available to those living in China and India, with no word on a global release yet.
