If there’s one thing weighing on millennials’ minds, it’s the ever-increasing cost of living. To address the worries of those caught in the crossfire, Australian insurance firm Rollin’ has come up with a new campaign that gives customers a chance to catch a lucky break.
Created in collaboration with the creative agency Bear Meets Eagle On Fire (BMEOF), the quirky illustrations hope to reward the young people in parts of their lives that they may have been forced to sacrifice as belts tighten in the uncertain economy.
Dubbed ‘The Times Is Tough Coupon Book’, the exercise releases a new redeemable coupon on Facebook and Instagram weekly, allowing followers to stand a chance to win prizes such as deluxe car washes, entry to music festivals, or a crate of vinyl hip-hop records.
Doused in an eye-catching yellow, the whimsical motifs were the work of illustrators such as Yeye Weller, Vanessa Lim, Steve Gavan, and animator Josh Trotter, featuring adorable characters in the form of musical instruments, a walking petrol tank, a bow-tie-clad art frame, and more.
