Slim AR Glasses Project A 215-Inch Virtual Screen Right In Front Of Your Eyes

Fancy having a 215-inch screen displayed in front of you no matter where you are? Artificial intelligence company Rokid might just have the answer for you.
 
Say hello to the ‘Rokid Max’, a pair of augmented-reality glasses that will allow you to work, play video games, and watch movies on a big screen whether you’re out and about or relaxing at home.

The headset is embedded with Sony Full HD micro-OLED panels in each lens. They combine to form a 215-inch screen around 20 feet away from the user with a 50-degree field of view. With a 120-Hz refresh rate and 600 nits of brightness (which have six adjustment levels), it should make for a pretty smooth viewing experience.
 
That said, it’s not hard to hear the age-old advice of not sitting too close to the television less our vision is ruined. In response to this, Rokid Max has a diopter adjustment from 0.00 to −6.00 for those with myopia. Additionally, it is TÜV Rheinland-certified for low blue light, so you can sit and run through a movie marathon for hours in comfort.

Light leakage in the front of the glasses is blocked out to prevent those around you from seeing what you are watching. Similarly, on its side are blackout covers for privacy and immersion.
 
Regarding how it connects to your devices, it has a USB-C wire, or you can upgrade it to a wireless adapter for more freedom. It can pair with your phone, tablet, and video game controller.

Its form factor comes in at 0.7-inch thickness and weighs 2.6 ounces, around the size of really thick sunglasses, and makes for a more covert wearing expereince.
