Lush x ‘Super Mario Bros’ Roll Out Bath Essentials So You Can 1-Up On Freshness

Things are looking peachy, and they’re smelling that way too. In an unprecedented collaboration, handmade cosmetics retailer Lush has joined teams with the Super Mario Bros. franchise to dish out soaps and bath bombs. Well, unprecedented-adjacent—Mario and Luigi are plumbers, after all.

The launch brings eight action-packed products to power up boring bath times, ahead of the release of the Super Mario Bros. Movie on April 5. Each item either brings to mind a character or an element from the video games.

Keeping in faith with Super Mario games, the range includes a question-block bath bomb with a surprise center that appears as it dissolves in warm water.

Hidden in the mystery block is one of six ‘power-up’ soaps, which could be a flower, a mushroom, or a coin—all with different scents. If you’re lucky, though, you’ll get the rarest of them all: a star bar.

You can’t have a Super Mario Bros. line without the Super Mario bros. That’s where these shower gels come in. Aligned with the brothers’ outfit colors, the body washes are cola-scented, for the Mario version, and green apple with a hint of rose, for the Luigi one.

Get that coin even in the shower with a skin-softening lather “filled with the i-coin-ic caramel scent” of Lush’s classic ‘Honey I Washed The Kids!’ fragrance.

Bowser and Peach have also joined the game as shower jellies, with Mario’s arch-nemesis represented by Lush’s spicy ‘Fireside’ scent.

Meanwhile, Peach gets an all-new peach and pineapple fragrance—nothing but the best for the princess, whose scent is also available in a body spray.

Finally, to 1-Up a special someone’s day, you could pack their favorite items from Lush into a mystery question-block box and watch their heart grow bigger.

You can now kart the Lush x Super Mario Bros. Movie collection, which has just raced to stores and on the Lush website and app.
