LEGO’s First Objectively Bad Set Is Of This, Er, ‘Majestic Horse’
LEGO rarely disappoints with its builds, from kits designed for the little ones to older fans who grew up with the plastic bricks. But lo and behold, here’s one that undeniably misses the mark.
The magic of play has been propelled to new, cursed heights with the toymaker’s latest 475-piece ‘Majestic Horse’ set. In fact, LEGO took so much liberty with the idea of indulging your imagination, that its horse looks nothing like the picture on the packaging, as superfans who received the exclusive play set have found out.

The ‘Majestic Horse’ turns out to be more of a Trojan horse in the form of a corgi-like, sneaker-wearing creature that poops. Looking at those vacant eyes and red shoes, one can’t help but wonder if the character is modeled after Paramount Pictures’ controversial Sonic the Hedgehog design.
The emerging beast has a movable head and ears, plus an “articulating tail [that] leads to many hours of fun,” LEGO describes in its promotional video.
Neighsayers, before you race over to LEGO’s complaint box, look closely: The set number on the box—010423—validates that the company is just horsing around.
To put it simply, the brand has made a buildable meme.
