Waze Adds 12 Zodiac-Inspired Driving Modes That Adapt To Your Star Sign

Waze is looking to the stars to direct its drivers. Well, not really. It is, however, considering your zodiac sign and delivering all-new driving modes that match you and your personality.
 
‘Zodiac’ is a new update that uses astrology to guide drivers navigating life (and the roads). The new system will adjust according to your birthday and present you with a personalized method of receiving directions.

In that sense, each sign has different traits that define them. For example, Aries babies are fire signs and might have a similar sparky nature. The system will take this into account and deliver as such. On the other hand, Taurus is ambitious, Leos are dramatic, and Virgos are detail-oriented. 
 
“Drivers can tap into the all-knowing cosmos with an astrological guide that pairs directions and readings in perfect harmony,” reads Waze’s blog post.
 
You can also ask it for directions in life, as it will do a reading for “life, love advice, and a little teasing.”

Lastly, a reading on your love and the heavy traffic on the interstate isn’t all you’ll get either. A whole host of other entertainment-based add-ons will be available. These include different themes to suit a user’s style.

Drivers can also participate in singalongs for long road trips, mediations with Headspace for after-work commutes, a Fraggle Rock addition for kiddos, and even something for the gamers out there with a new mode based on Halo to add action en route to your destination.

Starbucks has also joined the latest trend of incorporating astrology into its customer experience by introducing a guide to help customers choose their drinks based on their star signs.
 
The update is currently available to US citizens and can be activated under the new ‘Customize Your Drive’ feature.
