Elon Musk Has Twitter Headquarters’ ‘W’ Painted Over To Spite Landlord

It is with deep remorse to inform you that the Twitter you know is gone. It is known as ‘Titter’ now. At least, that’s what the sign on its headquarters appears to read.
Before Elon Musk’s acquisition of the company, the to-be-CEO of Twitter toyed with the idea of omitting the ‘w’ from its name. Well, his intrusive thoughts won; the San Francisco office was recently photographed with white tarp concealing the letter on the Twitter sign.

It turns out even one of the richest people in the world will have to conform to someone else’s rules. Musk tweeted that the HQ’s landlord had frowned upon the rearrangement and said that the tenant was legally obligated to keep the Twitter name, with no erasure.
“So we painted it background color. Problem solved!” Musk proclaimed.
The Titter boss added that the powers that be “tried to muffle our titter.”
Twitter now seems to be the de facto destination for meta memes. Previously, the social network replaced its blue bird logo with Doge, which caused the meme coin of the same name to spike in value.
It’s all fun and games until they decide on the Titter equivalent of the word “tweets.”
