Oscar Mayer’s Wienermobile Transforms Into Wedding Chapel To Relish Your Love

Can’t make up your mind about the theme of your wedding? Well, you can link up—pun intended—with your partner in the most unforgettable way, thanks to the Wienermobile.
That’s right; Oscar Mayer is helping you savor your love by converting its iconic fiberglass hot dog on wheels into a wedding chapel it calls the ‘Wienermobile of Love’. The 27-foot-long structure will be parked next to the famous Little White Chapel in Las Vegas, which married some notable names like Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, Frank Sinatra and Mia Farrow, Britney Spears and Jason Alexander, and Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner.

Each nuptial will be officiated by an ‘Oscar Mayer Hotdogger’ and accompanied by a live ‘Wiener Whistle Quartet’. Duos can then dig into the next slice of their lives together by cutting into a wiener cake.
Although it’s always stayed in the lane of cold cuts and processed meats, Oscar Mayer says it decided to transform the Wienermobile into a vehicle of love after reading a study noting that 72% of couples felt “very” or “extremely” vexed about wedding planning. On top of that, the brand has received “thousands of requests” each year to join in on couples’ big days, says Ed Roland, senior manager for Brand Communications for Oscar Mayer at The Kraft Heinz Company.
“So Oscar Mayer is sparking smiles and providing welcomed relief to couples looking to trade in a big wedding for a stress-free, unique and joyful celebration,” the brand elaborates. “Hot dogs included.”
While the company is eager to celebrate romances “through a pair of meat-colored glasses,” it does take two hands to clap. Couples will first have to get an official Nevada marriage license before eloping with the Wienermobile as their witness.
The Wienermobile of Love will only be open for two days—on Saturday, April 15, and Sunday, April 16—with 30-minute time slots throughout the event. If you’re ready to mustard up the courage for the next part of your life, you can register to get hitched during this weekend.
