‘Hike A Bike Harness’ Lets You Wear Your Bicycle Just Like A Backpack
If there’s one downside to cycling, it’s that there are times bicycles aren’t able to traverse certain terrain—such as in a muddy patch or on rocky paths. To make carrying the two-wheeler simpler, bike accessory brand Restrap has created a way to wear your gear like a backpack.
Dubbed the ‘Hike A Bike Harness’, the tool allows for hands-free adventuring by allowing users to wear the bike on their backs, making it easier to haul it over long distances or fit into places that may be a tight squeeze.
The harness, which is made of waterproof thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and coated in 1,000-denier nylon, is even easier to bring around, considering it can be rolled up and strapped to the bicycle’s top tube when not in use.
Those worried about the weight of the bicycle can rest easy knowing the tool comes with integrated top-tube straps and shoulder straps for better comfort, along with additional straps for the down tube, non-drive-side chain stay, or seat tube to balance the bike better.
