Globe-Trotter x Aston Martin Wheel In Luggage Bags Inspired By Formula 1 Cars
A single Formula 1 season contains an average of over 20 races in just as many countries. And with so many team members and fans, and a full media circus, what better way to travel to the races than with a suitcase inspired by one of its cars?
Globe-Trotter and racing team Aston Martin are speeding in with a new luggage bag lineup that calls on the fastest cars in the world as part of its design inspiration.
Of course, you don’t need to work for any of the teams or even be a fan to get your hands on one of these luggage bags. Their form factor only subtly nods to the racing team’s history, inviting everyone to carry them no matter who they support or which sport they enjoy spectating.
The AMF1 luggage collection contains two carry-ons and two suitcases stylized in Aston Martin’s famous British racing green hue. They also have lime green highlights, paying homage to its current Formula One livery. The corners are accented with Globe-Trotter’s black leather. And depending on how much you want to stand out in a crowd, you can go for either black or chrome-colored hardware.
Globe-Trotter suitcases are typically crafted from 14 layers of recycled paper bonded with zinc and coated in vulcanized fiberboard. The water-resistant lining is durable, and each case is finished with a unique metal plaque.
The collection is now up for preorders, with an official launch set for May 24. Prices range between US$2,695 and US$3,395.
