CASETiFY Releases Grip Cases That Make Your Phone Feel Soft Like A Cloud

Who says protective gear needs to be rugged? Sometimes, there’s strength in gentleness—a concept that applies to phone cases too, it seems.

CASETiFY has debuted a series of novel, cushy phone covers it calls The Grippy Cases. The fun lineup subverts the inherent utilitarianism of phone grips with pillow-like forms—one of the models even has ‘Marshmallow’ in its name—while also appealing to the fascination with fashion’s ever-ballooning ‘puffy’ trend.

The 3D grip cases, which the brand says are crafted from 90% eco-friendly materials, come in four plush styles inspired by Y2K fashion: ‘Marshmallow Cloud’, ‘Violet Butterfly’, ‘Heartbreaker’, and ‘Velvet Daisy’.

CASETiFY details that the accessories’ puffy texture “feels like a cushion wrapped around the device,” creating a uniquely comfortable grip. The adorable cases are also raised at the edges to further cushion smartphones, with the quintessential CASETiFY camera ring boosting protection around the lens configuration.

Interestingly, the grip acts as a phone stand too, ensuring phone owners don’t have to sacrifice style for function.

The Grippy Case is now available on the CASETiFY website and select retailers worldwide from US$72. At present, the series seems to only come in iPhone 14 sizes, but more options should be ready soon.
