Convertible E-Bike Adapts & Unfolds To Fit A Growing Family

Commuting through a busy city can be a challenge as an individual, let alone when you have a small family to think of. However, with the insurgence of electric bicycles and other sustainable motorized vehicles, their ability to adapt to a growing family’s needs could also steer towards less reliance on gas-guzzling cars and to modular e-bikes.
 
As in the case of Italian manufacturer Fabriga Cycles’ Modula Borse and Grazilla folding bikes that can clamp down to fit in your trunk or storage room and transform to fit you and your kids. 

The bike’s midsection unfolds into a loading compartment that reaches 45 inches long. It also has double-leveled seating, and Fabriga suggests placing your young ones in the middle section.

Older kids and adults can sit on the higher portion above the rear wheels. It even comes with optional bamboo seats, and it can shape-shift into a bench for your passengers and other large items you need to haul across the city.

The urban commuter has an assisted electric motor to take the strain out of uphill climbs and make ferrying your kids to and from their destinations a breeze. Plus, the separate motor bay compartment offers remarkable flexibility. Moreover, it can be easily upgraded by a skilled mechanic, eliminating the need to purchase a new bike later.

The Fabriga Modula will come in a standard version for US$3,047.65 for the standard version and US$5,468.17 for a more premium version featuring a higher-end engine, set to be released by September 2023.
