‘Winnie-The-Pooh’ Goes On A Nightmarish Hunt For His Friends In New Horror Game

Winnie-the-Pooh has spent a better part of his life acting as a positive beacon in the lives of children and adults who have grown up listening to stories about the lovable bear. Books, movies, and toys depict him as an affectionate and devoted friend to Christopher Robin and the other creatures of the Hundred Acre Wood. However, thanks to the character entering the public domain, he’s not so interested in finding pots of “hunny” anymore as he is on a bloodlust rampage.
 
After the release of Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey, a version of the silly old bear is now starring in his very own horror game by B21, Hundred Acre Wood. 

In the game, the woods and its inhabitants have been “twisted by an Otherworldly Power,” turning Pooh into a villainous beast hellbent on hunting down none other than his pal, Christopher Robin. Players are then tasked with saving the boy from the clutches of Winnie-the-Pooh while solving the mystery of what caused such a demonic spell to be cast over the Hundred Acre Wood. B21 describes the presence of a “horrifying but familiar memory” that could be the key to understanding what happened.
 
Thankfully, it seems like other characters, Piglet, Eeyore, Rabbit, Owl, and Kanga, will be helping the player out even though they have also been affected by the curse and turned into Eldritch Beasts.
 
The game is in first person, and players are encouraged to roam around the world to look for clues.
 
While there is no official release date yet, B21’s Steam page states that it will be coming soon.
