Aston Martin Revs Up DBX 707 Replica Of Its Formula One Medical Car
In an emergency during a Formula One race, a specialized car will be deployed to aid the drivers and bring them back to the medical center. Previously, Mercedes-Benz had taken up the helm to supply the vehicles to the FIA (the sport’s governing body). However, since Aston Martin has returned to the sport, it has now provided its own DBX 707.
Since its return, Aston Martin and its two drivers, Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon, have stayed somewhat in the midfield. However, this season, it looks like the British marque is back to prove a point. It is currently nestled in second place between reigning champions Red Bull and 10-time Constructor’s Champions Mercedes-Benz AMG for this year’s season after Alonso sped his way to four top-three finishes in just the first five races.
In celebration of that, the automotive manufacturer has released a special-edition DBX 707 AMR23 replica of the medical car, equipped with the racing team’s Podium Green livery and striking neon green accents that run through its interior. The only things missing are the emergency lights on its top, and the F1 and FIA branding on its body.

It comes with carbon-exposed bodywork and a sports badge representing the Q by Aston Martin division. It speeds around on 23-inch alloy wheels with racing green calipers and carbon ceramic disks.
Under the hood, its chassis remains the same with twin-turbocharged 4.0-L V8 engines, with 707 horsepower (hence its name) and 663 foot-pounds of torque. This results in just 3.2 seconds to go from zero to 60mph, all the speed one would need to get a driver out of an accident or if they’re in a rush to get to dinner somewhere in the city.
Ultimately, the new DBX might just fulfill some fans’ dream of owning a road car that is fit to go up against the rocket-quick F1 machines.
The DBX 707 AMR23 is now available for orders starting from US$200,000.
