Bang & Olufsen Shatters TV Size Barriers With 97-Inch OLED Display

Bang & Olufsen, the Danish electronics company, is revolutionizing home cinema experiences by introducing one of the largest OLED television screens ever seen on the market.

The impressive new offering builds upon the success of the previous Beovision Harmony Light Oak models, but this time it boasts an astounding 97-inch display. In addition, the television’s size marks a significant leap from its predecessors, which ranged from 65 to 88 inches. As Bang & Olufsen utilizes LG’s display technology for its Beovision Harmony lineup, it’s no surprise that their latest offering, with its impressive 97-inch size, positions it among the largest TVs in the market, trailing behind LG’s 97-inch OLED TV.

Equipped with a native 4K OLED panel, the latest installment may have a lower resolution than some 8K TVs, including the 88-inch Beovision. However, this is primarily due to the technical limitations of producing such a high resolution on a screen of this magnitude, as LG has yet to achieve it.

Beyond its impressive size, the TV shares the same innovative features as its sibling models. It incorporates a cutting-edge 7.1 surround sound system comprising seven motorized unfolding speakers that seamlessly split and swivel to enhance audio immersion. The 97-inch TV is exclusively available in a light oak finish, complemented by three metal options: natural and gold aluminum, and black anthracite, with a price tag of US$63,075.
