Ferrari Unveils Full-Sized LEGO Model Of Supercar, Lets Fans Create Their Own

Visitors to Legoland in Demark can feast their eyes on a new attraction: a full-size model of a Ferrari Monza SP1. More impressively, this lifelike remake of the supercar is entirely constructed from classic LEGO blocks.

According to a post by the luxury automaker, it appears even the vehicle’s rearview mirrors, license plate, and recognizable silver logo have all been built using the iconic plastic bricks, while the wheels and tires feature real automobile parts.

At the exhibition, dubbed Ferrari Build and Race, travelers will get a chance to build their own sportscar out of LEGO blocks.

Once the creation has been completed, the park scans the fan-made vehicles into a digital version, allowing them to “race” virtually on the brand’s famed Fiorano test track.

“The interactive exhibit offers visitors the possibility to assemble LEGO bricks to create their own Ferrari, and then to have their car digitally scanned before it is put to the test on a digital racetrack: the very well-known Fiorano track,” Ferrari said.

As per Motor1, for those unfamiliar with the automaker’s releases, the SP1 and SP2 vehicles first appeared on roads in 2018 as limited-edition models of the brand’s Icona range.

The look of the cars was inspired by models dating all the way back to the 50s and early 60s but integrated with modern powertrains, including a 6.5-liter V12 engine with 809 horsepower.
