Apple’s New Vision Pro Is Already Receiving Its First Third-Party Accessories

Apple finally announced its first mixed-reality headset, the Vision Pro, at its annual WWDC 2023 conference. The device is a futuristic take on virtual-reality gear that seeks to blend both the real and digital worlds together. While it won’t be ready for sale until next year, third-party partners are eager to start creating accessories for it already.

The Vision Pro’s form factor comes with a goggle-like front that turns into a screen to display your eyes when speaking to people, comfortable padding around the eyes, and a band at the back to strap it to your head. Unlike Apple’s other devices like the iPhone, iPad, and Watch, which can easily be dressed up with cases and straps, it’s hard to see where accessories would come into play with a headset.

BandWerk, an Apple accessory specialist, thinks otherwise as it announces a range of luxury Italian leather Head Bands.

The straps attach themselves to the cloth portion around the back of the head to add personality to your headset. The add-on comes in five color options: black, creme, brown, gray, and gray-orange.

Alongside the bands is a piece of fabric for the Light Seal, which prevents light from coming in and disrupting your viewing experience. The material will match each shade to tie the whole look together.

The Head Bands will only be up for sale once the Vision Pro is ready in early 2024, and the price is estimated to be around US$159.
