WordPress Introduces An AI Assistant To Save You From Writer’s Block

Automattic, the company behind the publishing and blog site WordPress, is integrating its Jetpack artificial intelligence plugin to make writing a breeze.
 
Jetpack is an AI generator powered by OpenAI meant to craft “professional content with powerful and intuitive AI.” Its integration with WordPress gives writers a one-stop shop to check grammar, fluidity, and anything else without leaving the site.
 
The new tool can be found under the block editing function, where users can write in a natural language prompt and be given an answer in return.

So what exactly can it help you with? First up are grammar and spelling, probably the most important roles an AI assistant could have when shouldering some of the work for writers. Next, it can generate ideas if you’re stuck with a blog post you’re crafting. It can also come up with titles and summaries if you’re experiencing writer’s block.
 
Another handy tool it has is to check your tonality and skew it to your desired writing voice, whether you want to come across as funny, informal, serious, confident, or empathetic. Lastly, if you’re native language is not English, you will be able to draft out a piece in your local tongue and have it translated for you, or vice versa. Some languages it offers include French, Chinese, Spanish, Korean, and Hindi.
 
Jetpack is currently available for free for your first 20 questions. After which, it will cost you US$10 per month.
