As the Northern Hemisphere eases into summer, there’s no doubt that 7-Eleven’s Slurpee drinks will soon become a staple of the warmer months. For the first time in four years, the brand has introduced a fresh look for the iconic cups, spotlighting “eccentric colors and eclectic vibes.”
Now, those stopping by the convenience chain to grab one of its popular frozen drinks will be greeted with vibrant, bold cups bearing a new, streamlined ‘S’ logo. The last time the retailer updated the design was back in 2019 when it ditched its trippy pinwheel look.
The rebranding effort comes as part of the company’s Anything Flows campaign, in which Slurpee will showcase its revamped identity on television channels, social media, and commercials.
Fans looking to extend their love for the beverage to other areas of life can look into the brand’s custom capsule collection, where there’ll be everything from bucket hats to t-shirts and drink-shaped pool floats on sale.
“For nearly 60 years, Slurpee has been a timeless icon, bringing our communities together to help create moments of joy through the weird and wonderful experience that is the Slurpee drink,” said Marissa Jarratt, 7-Eleven Executive Vice President.
“Now, as we usher in the new generation of Slurpee, we celebrate this iconic brand’s evolution and its continuous ability to add a little more awesome to our customer’s day,” she added in a press release.
