Apple Excitingly Winds Down Streets Of Turkey To Flaunt iPhone 14 Pro’s Skills

Apple has just released the closest thing to a tourism film of Turkey you can get from the iPhone maker.

In The Great Escape, directed by Sinan Sevinc and aired exclusively in the country, two skateboarders are seen traversing the streets of Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar and being chased down by cops. The entire thing, of course, is shot on the flagship iPhone 14 Pro.

With each high-speed maneuver and head-turning jump, a narrator observing the events credits the model’s film-making capabilities, like ‘Cinematic Mode’, which enables the videographer to shift focus between subjects; the Macro lens, which displays crisp close-up shots; night mode, which impressively captures all the action even in low-lit settings like dark alleys; and action mode, which stabilizes dynamic scenes where the handheld device might get shaky.

The short shares the same title as Golden Day’s The Great Escape, which soundtracks the spot and is streamable on Apple Music. Watch the commercial with closed captions below.
