Vimeo Introduces AI Video-Editing Tools To Remove Awkward Pauses For You
Vimeo is making video-editing easy for just about anyone with a new suite of artificially intelligent features that aim to streamline the production process, whether you’re an expert or just starting out.
One standout feature is Vimeo’s AI-generated scripts. As seen in a demo from CEO Anjali Sud, she types into the machine, asking for a script to announce the new features coming to the platform. Within seconds, it gives her a passage to read from while she records herself. As she makes the video, it even feeds her the lines like a teleprompter.
You can also say goodbye to pesky stuttering and awkward stalls in your videos. The new machine can pick up on these speech fillers and long pauses and edit them out of your content without having to sift through the entire video and manually cut it out. All you would have to do is write in a text prompt giving directions on what you would like it to edit out, and off it goes.
