Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Now Come In The Shape Of Your Favorite ‘Pokémon’
In its second collaboration with Pokémon, Samsung is taking the concept of a Poké Ball-shaped earbuds case to the next level by introducing actual Pokémon-shaped Galaxy Buds. And not in just one, but three adorable options.
Designed for Samsung’s Galaxy Buds 2, the Galaxy Buds 2 Pokémon Pack will be available in various original Pokémon designs, including Ditto, Jigglypuff, and Snorlax.
The base version is going for around US$99, while the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro retails at about US$152. In addition to the cases, each purchase includes stickers and cards featuring the Pokémon you choose.
If all of this sounds too good (and too cute) to be true, you would be right. Unfortunately for those outside of South Korea, you won’t be able to catch ’em all as these are currently a special offering in the nation. There is no word if the collection will make it over to the US currently, but if the previous South Korea-only drops are anything to go by, you could probably find it on eBay soon enough.
Outside of this, Samsung has partnered with the Pokémon franchise several times, and has previously rolled out products like Pokémon-themed accessories made for the Galaxy Z Flip series.
So, fellow trainers, stay positive and keep your Poké Balls at the ready. And who knows? Maybe your dreams of owning a Ditto-shaped case will come true sooner than expected.
