Nike and menswear designer Martine Rose have joined forces for an exciting collaboration that challenges traditional gender norms. While Nike has established itself as a leading brand in athletic wear, this partnership ventures into the realm of semi-formal clothing.

This collaboration transforms classic British tailoring codes into pitch-ready attire. While Nike has already released a range of jerseys for the FIFA Women’s World Cup, this collection focuses on the other side of the field with pieces that could turn soccer games into business casual affairs. The lineup includes button-down shirts, trousers, suit jackets, and even a stylish trench coat.

The navy jacket and trousers feature a striking repeating ‘M’ pattern, with a Nike x Martine Rose tag above the back pocket. The beige trench coat comes with an additional set of sleeves that can be tied around your neck like a traditional soccer scarf. The apparel also proudly displays both brands’ logos and a mock Martine sponsor crest.

For those seeking sportier options, the lineup includes knee-high socks made from nylon and spandex and a pair of Echo Shield Sunglasses. And for a unique twist, the duo are bringing back their Shox MR4 dress shoes inspired by soccer boots, complete with exaggerated cleats as mule heels.

Rose shared with WWD that a suit is inherently gender-neutral, and this collection aims to inspire and empower women while sparking a conversation about gender in sports.

The collection will be available on Martine-rose.com starting July 25, and through select Nike retailers on July 27.
