Samsung thinks its flip phones are such an imposing force that they’re almost terrifying, but still good.
In a counterintuitive horror spoof by advertising agency Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam, a group of teenagers are exchanging stories at summer camp when one of them tells of a legend that a single glance at a Samsung flip phone will permanently imprint its image into one’s mind.
Thankfully, there is a way to reverse the curse. The storyteller shares that victims can overcome the phenomenon by switching to Android.
Skeptical of the myth, one of the friends—presumably an iPhone user—scoffs and says it’s “the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.” However, when one person removes a Galaxy Z Flip model from their pocket, the teen is immediately possessed by a mysterious energy.
Horrified by the sighting, the others attempt to flee. But there’s no escape—once they set their eyes on the monster, it will only be time before they are consumed by its presence.
