Luxury fashion label Louis Vuitton has tapped on renowned Michelin-starred chef Arnaud Donckele and pastry chef Maxime Frédéric to take charge of its sunny Saint Tropez restaurant for the summer.
Together, the duo aims to capture the essence of the Riviera’s flavors and vacation lifestyle, adopting a relaxed, welcoming, and elegant approach.
Donckele and Frédéric share a culinary vision centered around flavors, simplicity, and authenticity. According to LVMH, the pair is committed to sourcing high-quality seasonal ingredients from local producers, emphasizing their dedication to showcasing the best of the region.
The menu at the Louis Vuitton restaurant reflects the local terroir, offering a delightful fusion of Mediterranean flavors. The décor draws inspiration from Louis Vuitton’s By The Pool resort collection, creating a visually stunning ambiance perfect for kicking back in and sipping on a tipple.
Guests can indulge in sweet snacks during the afternoon, featuring tempting delights such as chocolate bars, tarte tropézienne, sorbets, and the irresistible Dolce Vita ice cream selection.
As the evening sets in, the dinner menu takes center stage, presenting pure tastes and sun-drenched textures from the Mediterranean basin. Highlights include truffle-stuffed Italian pasta, shrimp tartar, and Moroccan-spiced lamb chops.
The menu proudly celebrates the finest regional products, showcasing Camargue rice, fish sourced from local and eco-friendly fishing practices, and vibrant vegetables cultivated by Provençal market gardeners.
