Selfridges’ Barbie Dreamhouse Lets You Rent Your Own Doll-Inspired Outfit

With the Barbie movie almost upon us, there may be no better time than right now to embrace the doll lifestyle. While owning a Barbie Dreamhouse might be a little out of reach—or not, if you don’t mind an Xbox-sized one for your console—you certainly can dress up as if you belong in Barbie Land.
 
UK department store Selfridges is opening up a Barbie’s Dreamhouse rental service where fans can get their own doll-inspired makeover in recreated film sets without emptying their pockets.
 
The collection of Barbie-themed clothing was curated by stylist and art director Theo White who has hand-picked a mix of iconic looks and more contemporary choices for the modern Barbie-loving fashionista.

If you’d truly like to live out the Barbie experience, you can rent outfits like the ‘Dream CEO Barbie’ and ‘Dream Fairytale Barbie’ sets, or even costumes from the upcoming movie. Included in this doll-themed array, you can also find secondhand pink Reselfridges bags from Saint Laurent, shoes, and other accessories and toys that look like they belong right in Barbie’s closet.
 
After you’ve picked out your outfit, you can head to the vanity section, where there are treatments from the Lisa Eldridge Beauty team, manicures from Manucrist, and hairstyling from Gisou.

Once you’re all dolled up, you can snap some pictures alongside a replica of her pink Corvette.
 
The rental service will be open until July 29, so there’s plenty of time to head down and pick out an outfit before the movie opens.
