Whimsical $450 Tote Bag Transforms Into The Shape Of… Spilled Ice Cream Cones
For those familiar with streetwear brand Doublet, its previous releases have been nothing short of… interesting, ranging from headless tracksuits to an animal slipper collaboration with footwear pioneer Suicoke.
Now, the label’s latest bag design from its Fall/Winter 2023 runway show will be sure to delight sweet tooths worldwide, as it comes in the same as an ice cream cone. But unlike a regular tote shaped like the delectable treat, this ice cream pops out of the back and spills over into a “melted puddle” individuals can carry around.
Thankfully, the spilled ice cream can be packed back inside the leather waffle cone via a drawstring, allowing the tote to double up as a smaller wristlet—complete with branding on the cone reminiscent of a particular dessert chain printed on Tyvek paper.
Dessert lovers can snag one of these oh-so-tasty bags in three different flavors: strawberry, vanilla, and mint at authorized Doublet stockists. Each tote retails for 64,000 yen (US$453).
