Sperry’s boat shoes have been making waves in maritime and landlocked fashion for some time now, and are a staple for those looking to hit the waters or even complete their finest barbecue fits during the summer. What you don’t usually see them accessorize are cans of beer, but that’s all about to change.
Sperry and Natural Light have created a unique product for boating enthusiasts: the ‘Brewzie’, a beer holder made from upcycled Sperry boat shoes so you and your favorite drink can match. This ice-cool accessory is designed to keep your beverage chilled and secure while you enjoy a day on the water.
Sperry’s signature ‘Wave-Siping’ technology, known for its excellent traction on wet surfaces, has been integrated into the Brewzie’s base, ensuring stability even in the choppier waters.
To get a Brewzie, fans can head to Natural Light’s Instagram post and comment with #NattyBrewzie and #Sweepstakes until August 7. If you’re one of the lucky winners, you can upcycle your Sperry Authentic Original or Leeward boat shoe into a one-of-a-kind Brewzie.
165 participants aged 21 and older will be selected to receive their custom Brewzies along with a discount for a new pair of Sperry shoes on the brand’s website.
And with both, you’ll be ready to hit the waters with the Brewzie and your favorite beverage in hand, or rather, in shoe.
