Canada Goose Turns Hiking Trails Into Runways With $550 Trekking Boots

Canada Goose, known for its premium outerwear, has ventured into the footwear realm by introducing their latest creation after a two-year hiatus, the Glacier Trail Sneaker High, for US$550.

The Glacier Trail Sneaker High has a distinctive upper that blends into a white chunky outsole. One of its key features is a stretchy collar extending well above the ankle, providing comfort and protection during treks. And if the boots look like they might be a little hard to slip your feet in and out, they come with a waterproof zipper that goes down past your toes.

The shoe has a rubberized leather protective wrap and a waterproof and breathable HDry membrane for those trekking through various weather conditions and terrain. The addition of 360-degree hydrophobic laces allows for a personalized fit. At the same time, the webbing on the back allows you to carry small pocket knives, granola bars, or whatever else you would need out in the wilderness.

The lightweight midsole provides a cushioned feel alongside the TPU heel stabilizer and insole lined with breathable, temperature-regulating microfiber fabric. This overall also increases stability and grip while traversing different environments.

There is also a sporty low-top version if you’re considering taking these kicks on other indoor or outdoor adventures.

Both high-top and low-top editions of the Glacier Trail sneaker are available to cater to different preferences. With its sporty flair and multiple color options, the low-top version is presented as gender-neutral, though it primarily comes in women’s sizing.
