Augmented reality glasses have various uses across different industries and daily life. They enable users to overlay digital information and content onto the real-world. AR eyewear offers a new dimension of interaction with digital content, enhancing productivity, entertainment, and convenience in numerous applications.
A Kickstarter project by Hong Kong-based AR company, INMO, introduces its own wireless glasses called the ‘INMO Air2’.
One of its primary capabilities is its camera, which captures photos and records videos hands-free from the user’s perspective. Along with its built-in AI algorithms, the device offers a stabilizing feature so you can run around, play fetch with your dog, fish, ski, and pretty much everything else in between while capturing steady footage.
Another feature of the INMO Air2 is its private viewing option, allowing users to enjoy content in complete privacy. Additionally, the glasses come pre-integrated with popular platforms like YouTube and TikTok, allowing for a convenient and seamless content streaming experience.
It’s even integrated with OpenAI’s GPT model with its INMO GPT App, where users can ask the chatbot to handle tasks and queries via voice or text.
And that’s not all. If you find yourself caught overseas trying to communicate in a language you don’t know, the eyewear is here to help. It offers built-in English, French, Japanese, Spanish, German, Korean, Russian, Italian, and Chinese Mandarin translations.
For public speakers and content creators, the INMO Air2 shines as a teleprompter, offering invaluable assistance during speeches and live video sharing. Seamlessly blending entertainment and productivity, these glasses cater to diverse user needs.
Enhancing convenience and safety, the INMO Air2 boasts an intuitive navigation system that provides hands-free directions and essential information. Whether cycling through city streets or exploring unfamiliar terrains, users can easily rely on the device to guide them.
Currently, INMO has surpassed its goal on Kickstarter, and the glasses are going for US$599, inclusive of a smart ring that can help you control the device. Shipping is set to start this August.
