Google Launches Free AI Training On Its Productive Use At Work & In Daily Life

Created by Google experts, the program features ten user-friendly modules that cover vital AI skills. Two modules have already been introduced: ‘Grow Your Productivity with AI’ and ‘Understanding Machine Learning’, both of which can be registered via the respective links.

The Grow Your Productivity with AI module introduces learners to AI tools that enhance productivity. At the same time, Understanding Machine Learning is tailored for small and medium-sized business leaders, teaching them how to leverage machine learning to boost efficiency, cut costs, and drive growth.

According to Google’s blog post, only 2% of British small and medium-sized businesses currently utilize machine learning tools. Google’s training initiative seeks to bridge this digital skills gap and empower enterprises to harness the potential of AI.

Following feedback from 85 learners at a Google Digital Garage event, eight more modules on various topics, including data usage, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and leadership, are set to be released soon.

Google also calls for National Skills Service to emphasize the importance of closing the digital skills gap and preparing people for future opportunities in an AI-powered world.
