Dyson Unveils The First Brush Attachment For Its Supersonic Hair Dryers
In the thick of summer, humidity returns in full force, bringing with it the dreaded frizzy hair and hairstyles that seem to vanish the moment you step outside your front door.
Dyson has unveiled its latest upgrade to the Supersonic hair dryer—the Dyson ‘Flyaway Smoother’, which combines its previous Flyaway standalone attachment with a round brush. This two-in-one tool addresses the common concerns of smoothing and taming flyaways.
Until now, the Flyaway attachment has only been something those with the Dyson Airwrap have had access to. The previous version made for a swift and easy option for a blowout frizz-less look if you couldn’t get to a salon for one. But it didn’t match the efficacy of a proper round brush.
This will make it the first brush attachment for the Supersonic. With soft bristles, it offers added styling benefits and features two modes: a smoothing setting and a flyaway setting.
The smoothing setting works on damp hair, leaving it silky and straight. On the other hand, the flyaway setting utilizes Coanda airflow. With this, all you would have to do is run it down the length of your hair and will use air to smooth down and flatten away strayS.
The Flyaway Smoother can be purchased separately from the Supersonic at US$59.99. It complements the existing array of tools with the Supersonic hair dryer, including a flyaway attachment, a wide-tooth comb, a gentle air attachment, a diffuser, and a styling concentrator.
