Lamborghini has recently unveiled a one-of-a-kind, special-edition ‘Opera Unica’ Huracán Sterrato, inspired by the blues of Sardinia’s seas and skies.

Naturally, the highlight of the vehicle is the extraordinary crystal-effect paint process, meticulously crafted by Lamborghini's Ad Personam department. This painting technique—which took a little over two weeks (370 hours, to be exact)—creates a mesmerizing frozen liquid appearance.

The intricate shades are meant to portray the marine-blue landscapes and rich colors of Sardinia through a unique three-color hand-painted approach.

In addition, the exterior of the ‘Opera Unica’ exhibits a striking matte black finish on the roof, sills, front-light casings, front, and rear splitters, as well as the fenders. The car’s muscular appearance is accentuated by the matt black enhanced wheel-arch protection, complementing the Morus 19” matte black rims.

Inside, the attention to detail continues with exposed carbon fiber, enhancing the car’s sporty appeal. The sports seats, door panels, and console are elegantly upholstered in Blu Delphinus leather, while the dashboard features specially-dyed Alcantara of the same color.

Interestingly, the steering wheel boasts a combination of both materials, creating a visually captivating driving experience that places the driver’s comfort first. To add a touch of elegance, the lighter shade of Celeste Phoebe leather is used in complementary panels, piping, and embroidery, reminiscent of the blue hues of the car’s façade.

Following its grand debut, the car will be on display at the Lamborghini Lounge in Porto Cervo. This exclusive lounge features an Ad Personam personalization area and is open until September 10, 2023, offering visitors a chance to witness the marvel of ‘Opera Unica’ and explore other Lamborghini models.

“The one-off Huracán Sterrato Opera Unica takes this to another level, and in Lamborghini tradition, draws attention and asks questions of it as an art form,” said Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Automobili Lamborghini.

“Lamborghini is always touched by the beauty and colors of Sardinia, and this is the perfect opportunity to experiment with a new paint process, explore the possibilities of our Ad Personam personalization, and then present this special Sterrato to our clients and guests in the environment that inspired the blue crystal effect.”
