All Aboard This Superyacht That Comes With Its Own Waterfall On Deck

Turkish-based Orion Yachts is about to set sail with its first ocean cruiser, a superyacht that takes its very own waterfall out to sea.

Renderings of the ‘Orion One’, a 141-foot (43-meter) motor yacht, showcases a blend of craftsmanship and contemporary design. The vessel’s construction began in 2022, with Red Yacht Design responsible for the interior and exterior design and Alfa Marine Engineering handling the naval architecture.

The Orion One exterior boasts sleek lines, a flared bow, cascading aft decks, and extensive glazing, providing panoramic ocean views. With a length of 141 feet, a beam of nearly 27 feet, and an interior volume of 480 GT, the yacht offers ample space for the owner and guests to enjoy their journey.

Designed to appeal to first-time boat owners and experienced sailors, the Orion One is equipped with amenities that will have you cruising the seven seas in style. This includes a master suite, along with four additional guest staterooms. The layout also allows for potential use as a private charter yacht.

Perhaps the crowning jewel of the vessel is its somewhat unnecessary (yet still pretty cool) waterfall. The installation is situated at the boat’s highest level and utilizes a roof to channel water into a dip pool beneath it.

Other outdoor features include a foredeck sun pad area, a Portuguese bridge, and a sky lounge with unobstructed views of the surroundings.

Currently, details on propulsion and performance are limited, but the Orion One is envisioned to have two CAT C32 1450 hp engines. However, there is no word on its range or speed.

Orion One is scheduled to begin deliveries in 2024.
