Craving fast food? Why not trade in an inexpensive burger and fries combo for an actual gourmet experience? While that may sound far-fetched, Stella Artois is making such an experience a reality with its pop-up restaurant concept: the Stella Artois Dine-Thru.
According to thebeer brand, Canadians aged 18 to 34 are frequently opting for fast-food meals. Many in this age group are pressed for time and caught up in their busy schedules, with as many as 30% consuming these meals on the go, often alone.
With this insight in mind, Stella Artois wants to encourage its consumers to rethink their dining habits, moving away from hurried and often unhealthy consumption towards cherishing mealtime together.
The special ‘Dine-Thru’ features a specially curated menu by prominent Canadian chef Laurent Dagenais and will offer one-hour seatings for diners to savor a unique culinary experience. Offering elevated takes on classic fast-food offerings, it introduces an elevated twist to quick and easy meals, aligning with the brand’s vision to redefine the drive-thru experience.
One can tuck into an array of delectable options, including The Ultimate Fried Calamari Burger, Laurent’s Double-Fried Parm Frites, Nostalgic Deep-Fried Mac ’N’ Cheese Balls, You Have Had a Pogo, but Have You Had a Merguez Pogo, and The Most Decadent Confit Poutine.
That’s not all. To challenge the conventions of fast-food culture, the Stella Artois Dine-Thru introduces an unconventional method of payment. Rather than cash or card transactions, guests can simply exchange any standard dining coupon for a delicious meal item of their choice, along with a complimentary Stella Artois beer.
“Statistics reflect that in recent years, the pace of modern life has caused many to prioritize speed and convenience at mealtime,” said Mike Bascom, Senior Marketing Director, Stella Artois Canada.
“As a result, people often lose valuable time spent over a meal together. The Stella Artois Dine-Thru is intended to remind people to slow down and savor–not just quality food, but quality time with loved ones too.”
