Pininfarina’s 100% Electric Hypercar With No Roof Will Cost You $4.7 Million

Automobili Pininfarina is gearing up to showcase a groundbreaking creation at the upcoming Monterey Car Week: the B95—an open-top pure-electric hyper Barchetta.

The vehicle’s design, which immediately stands out due to its lack of a roof, aligns elegance and dramatic proportions by drawing inspiration both iconic racing cars and futuristic elements.

Notably, this limited-edition launch will be limited to only 10 units, each meticulously curated by the Automobili Pininfarina design team in collaboration with individual clients. This ensures the exclusivity and uniqueness of each B95 model.

The car’s façade features full-width enveloping bodywork that seamlessly transitions into the front fenders, while a high swage line gives the body a muscular appearance.

This design element not only enhances the safety of the vehicle while on the road, but also establishes a connection with the external surroundings from within the cabin.

Those familiar with past releases of Automobili Pininfarina will no doubt spot similar design language in the B95. The absence of traditional glass surfaces has led to a cabin defined by a looping enclosure, integrating elements such as the seats, adjustable aero screens, and passenger domes.

Four distinct lines from this perspective establish a visual link with the Vision concept developed by the brand’s in-house experts.

A unique feature of the B95 is its electronically adjustable aero screens, enhancing the open-top driving experience. Reminiscent of the aesthetics of vintage fighter planes, these clear polycarbonate designs are meticulously engineered and supported by exposed aluminum components.

Owners of the B95 can also personalize their experience with bespoke helmets, designed to complement the chosen B95 specification. These accessories provide a stylish and secure way to fully engage with the hypercar's performance on the road or track.

The exterior finish of the B95 is a multi-layered gloss that incorporates metallic flakes for added depth and visual appeal. This finish interacts dynamically with light, transitioning from gold tones during the day to a bronzed hue at night.

Within the doors of the vehicle is a meticulously designed interior featuring special Tan Sustainable Luxury Leather. The brushed black aluminum anodized accents add a contemporary touch to the cabin, while the classic race car-inspired seats provide both comfort and protection.
