Lamborghini’s First All-Electric Concept Car Makes Drivers ‘Feel Like A Pilot’

Following the teaser it unveiled days ago, Lamborghini has officially unveiled the Lanzador—the luxury automaker’s first all-electric car concept that will serve as a “visionary preview” of a future model scheduled for 2028.

The vehicle immediately stands out with its Gran Turismo 2+2 concept, comprising a design that manages to be both futuristic and rebellious while staying true to the brand’s iconic look.

Under the hood, the Lanzador is powered by two electric motors, one for each axle, providing an impressive all-wheel-drive capability that ensures efficiency across diverse driving conditions.

The combined electric powertrain delivers a peak power exceeding one megawatt, a demonstration that switching to battery-powered cars doesn’t mean having to sacrifice performance.

Drivers have the freedom to independently adjust the control systems through intuitive controls mounted on the sports steering wheel.

This flexibility will enable them to fine-tune the car’s behavior, creating a personalized driving profile that perfectly matches their preferences and driving style.

In addition, the concept introduces a new version of the carmaker’s driving dynamics control system, known as the Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata (LDVI).

Setting a new standard for its vehicles, this system will grant drivers an unparalleled level of customization that allows them to seamlessly tailor the active control systems to cater to their specific driving needs.

The Lanzador also boasts Active Aerodynamics, a technology that optimizes aerodynamic efficiency by adjusting airflow in the front and rear of the car.

This feature adapts the car’s aerodynamics according to different driving modes, enhancing the range in urban settings and increasing downforce for high-performance situations.

Within its confines, the Lanzador showcases a futuristic and spacious interior, embodying Lamborghini’s ethos to make its drivers “feel like a pilot.”

Both the driver and passenger enjoy an ergonomic environment, featuring a sleek control panel that allows real-time modifications while on the move.

Sustainability is at the forefront of the vehicle’s interior, with the use of eco-friendly materials like merino wool and regenerated carbon fiber. Even non-visible components, such as the foam in the sports seats, are crafted from 3D-printed recycled fibers.
