Van Leeuwen Brings Home The BBQ With Unique Ice Cream Treat Just For Summer
Want to enjoy the vibes of a hearty ol’ BBQ but don’t have a grill? Van Leeuwen, in partnership with Uber One, has dreamed up the perfect solution: a special pint of BBQ Gold Cornbread Crumble ice cream.
The limited-edition flavor fuses the flavors of a sweet harvest corn ice cream base with honey cornbread chunks, and, in the spirit of summer, a tangy-sweet BBQ swirl.
Each pint retails at US$10.50 and is currently available to purchase in person at Van Leeuwen stores countrywide or via delivery on Uber Eats for customers with an Uber One membership. The latter can receive a special deal of 10% off the ice cream and zero delivery fee.

To convince those who weren’t sold on the odd combination of ingredients, a custom ice cream truck recently cruised around New York City to give away samples of the sweet treat. Though, for fans of the dessert brand, such unique flavors shouldn’t come as a surprise.
Previously, the company came up with a Greek yogurt ice cream mixed with caramelized onion jam for Netflix’s Glass Onion promotions and pushed the boundaries of Kraft’s fan-favorite Mac and Cheese with a frozen version of the comfort dish.
