Alpine Builds Formula 1 Elements Into New Enstone Edition Sports Car

French automaker Alpine’s latest creation, the A110 S Enstone Edition, pays homage to two of its factories in Enstone, UK, where its Formula 1 cars are made, and Dieppe, France. The car was unveiled just ahead of the 2023 British Grand Prix in July.

Alpine has over three decades of F1 expertise and had been operating under its parent brand, Renault, before switching gears to Alpine in 2021.

Between 2005 and 2006, the brand won back-to-back Constructor’s Championships alongside its driver Fernando Alonso who also won his two Driver’s Championships with the team.

With a storied history in motorsports, the Enstone Edition’s cockpit integrates carbon elements crafted in the Enstone workshop, home to Alpine’s F1 cars. Aspects like the visor, center console, and drop zone bring a touch of the sport to the roads.

It features gunmetal bodywork, two matte gray shades, and a matte black hood adorned with the Union Jack.

The Enstone Edition cruises atop 18-inch matte black GT Race wheels, complemented by Brembo Silver calipers. Its interior, featuring Sabelt Racing seats adorned with Enstone Edition embroidery, aims to transport you into the realm of Alpine’s single-seaters.

Underneath its exterior, the roadster packs a 300 bhp engine, propelling it from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds and achieving a top track speed of 171 mph (with the optional aero kit).

Orders can be placed through Alpine Centres in France at EUR€85,000 (US$92,313.40). However, there will only be 300 of these vehicles made, and each will come with an exclusive numbered plaque and a certificate of authenticity signed by the BWT Alpine F1 Team.
