Playmobil Rolls Out Set Dedicated To ‘Magnum P.I.’ And His Iconic Ferrari
Get ready to rev up your nostalgia engines as Playmobil takes fans on a turbocharged trip down memory lane. The iconic ‘80s crime series Magnum, P.I. is making a comeback, but it’s not on your television screen this time—it’s in your hands.
The set features the iconic red Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole, an automobile, a venerable sidekick to Magnum himself.
The ensemble is a complete package that includes the key characters from the series. You’ll find Thomas Magnum (in his trusty Hawaiian shirt), T.C., Rick, and the enigmatic Higgins, each recreated in Playmobil form.
However, the star of the show, of course, is the Ferrari (sorry, Tom Selleck). In vivid red, it mirrors the quintessential vehicle of the series, capturing the era’s essence. For customization, the car has hinged front headlights, a rear-opening hood, and a removable roof.
Beneath the car, a button springs the headlights to life. The rear engine hood, too, can be folded open, allowing you to live out the thrills of being a P.I. on the mean streets of Hawaii.
