Crocs Get Turned Into Reversible Boots, With A Futuristic Twist
In yet another attempt to turn Crocs into boots, London-based designer Feng Chen Wang is putting her unique spin on the trend and adding a dash of space cowboy aesthetics to this line of clogs.
Wang has reimagined two classic Crocs models—the Siren Clog and the Echo Clog—which come with detachable chaps that can turn the shoes into boots and back into clogs whenever you desire.
The Echo Clog showcases perforated black leather uppers adorned with silver Feng Chen Wang pins. The pièce de résistance is the removable ankle cuffs, which transform your run-of-the-mill Crocs into a pair of futuristic-looking boots.
Conversely, the Siren Clog stands tall with its jumbo-sized platform soles and mid-foot braces, offering a chunky strapped look. The leather chaps can be removed via a handy buckle that attaches itself around the shoe.
The Feng Chen Wang x Crocs collaboration can be found on Wang’s website after its release on September 1.
