This Pen Collects 16 Million Colors From The World Around To Your Fingertips

At its core, the Colorpik Pen integrates an RGB color sensor alongside four refillable ink cartridges, each with a different base shade. To conjure up a particular hue, users need only hold the sensor against the desired shade and initiate the scanning process with a press of a button. It then blends the inks, giving life to the scanned pigment.
In a demo video, it was used to capture the shades of different objects, like a leaf or a lamp, which were immediately transferred onto paper.
The Colorpik Pen also offers versatility with six interchangeable nibs—needle, ballpoint, round, fountain, marker, and brush—allowing for various strokes and styles.
The innovation extends beyond its physical form. The Colorpik Pen pairs with a dedicated app on tablets or computers, courtesy of Bluetooth or USB connectivity. This digital companion empowers users to integrate scanned hues into their digital projects, with options to fine-tune the pigments.
The pen is sustained by a 280-mAh lithium battery, offering approximately 15 hours of use. Each ink cartridge fills a generous 15 miles of drawing.
Currently seeking funding on Kickstarter, the Colorpik Pen starts with a pledge of US$149, which includes the pen, four nibs, a color chart, and three ink cartridges.
