The introduction of the ‘Help me write’ button, available on both web and mobile versions of Gmail, allows you to compose content that reflects your unique voice and style.
It also leverages your own words and takes context from previous emails, ensuring the replies it generates are relevant and coherent. Moreover, if you have a thread you’re trying to read through, you can have it summarize the contents of all the messages sent so you can get a gist of the discussion.
For those seeking a touch of creativity, the ‘I’m Feeling Lucky’ option offers playful variations in tone and style for email content, injecting a bit of fun into your messages.
The ‘Help me write’ feature will also grace Google Docs, empowering users to fine-tune their content by adjusting tone, summarizing sections, adding bullets, and more.
However, writing emails isn’t the only thing it can do. This real-time AI collaborator can even generate presentations and briefs based on content stored in Drive and Gmail. And if you need, it can even create visuals to accompany your work.
On top of that, Duet AI can sit in on your virtual meetings and take notes, action items, and even video snippets. Later, it will compile this information into a convenient summary, which will be sent to all attendees. If you’re too busy to attend, you can send it in your stead to take notes and relay them to you afterward.
Trials for Duet AI have begun, and corporations can sign up to begin testing it out.
