Mercedes-Benz has launched a new fragrance collection aptly named Land-Sea-Air. Drawing inspiration from the brand’s iconic three-point logo, this olfactory trio aims to encapsulate the essence of these elements through carefully crafted scents.
Each piece of the collection, designed by IFF master perfumer Anne Flipo, seeks to capture the distinct characteristics associated with, well, land, sea, and air.
The brand has also taken a conscientious step by utilizing recycled glass bottles adorned with aluminum caps. Furthermore, the packaging is crafted from biodegradable materials derived from algae-based paper. The bottles themselves form the three-point logo when put together.
The Land fragrance, the first in the collection, encapsulates the essence of terra firma with notes of cocoa shell, tonka bean, and patchouli.
Moving on to the Sea scent, a combination of violet leaf, tangerine, and seaweed creates a maritime symphony that transports wearers to oceanic horizons, where salty breezes mingle with fresh citrus undertones.
Lastly, the Air perfume rounds out the collection with a dynamic composition of armoise oil, vibrant citrus notes, and the intriguing aroma of turmeric leaf. This concoction seeks to embody the lightness and freedom associated with the air element.
The collection can be found online on Mercedes-Benz’s dedicated perfume site for US$115 per bottle.
