Google Teases Upcoming Pixel 8 & Pixel 8 Pro—In The Flesh—In New Video

Google’s Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are poised for their debut, and the tech giant has provided a glimpse into what’s to come.

A recent video teaser, shared on Google’s YouTube channel, revolves around the phones’ design. However, exact specifications have not been released yet.

Google’s new landing page on the Google Store also showcases the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, along with a cameo appearance by the Pixel Watch 2. And, as noticed by 9to5Google, alt text on the site describes the variations, mentioning ‘Rose’ and ‘Porcelain’.

The Pro version looks to come in a matte finish, while the base model retains a glossy look.

On its page, it describes the new device as powered by artificial intelligence, with new features that aid users in editing photos intuitively and translating languages on the spot.

According to Forbes, the new smartphones are also expected to be the first to ship out with the new Android 14 UI.

As for the Pixel Watch 2, all the information on the site states it will come with “even more personalized help, safety features, and health insights.”

The phones will be officially unveiled during an in-person event in New York on October 4.
